MVCTC Firefighter Class of 2024 Achieves 100% Pass Rate in State Certification


The Miami Valley Career Technology Center (MVCTC) is pleased to announce that all 16 eligible students from the 2024 Firefighter Class have successfully passed their State of Ohio Level II Firefighter Certification test. This accomplishment reflects our students' hard work and dedication and the quality of training provided by MVCTC.

Securing the State of Ohio Level II Firefighter Certification is a significant milestone for these students. It demonstrates their proficiency in essential firefighting skills and qualifies them to work as firefighters at any fire station in Ohio. This certification is highly regarded within the firefighting community and greatly enhances our students' prospects in the job market.

We commend the Class of 2024 for their achievement and extend our congratulations to each student. We also acknowledge the efforts of our faculty and staff, especially Captain John Shaw, MVCTC firefighter/EMS instructor, who has supported and guided these students throughout their training.
